Four Generations of Businesswomen to Gather to Hear Madeleine Albright and Others at PBWC Conference
Professional BusinessWomen of California's annual convention expected to draw thousands of entrepreneurs, executives and students
Some 5,000 women are expected to gather this month at the Professional BusinessWomen of California conference to hear former Secretary of State Madeleine Albright and other women leaders during the organization's 19th annual conference at the San Francisco Moscone Center. Albright, along with fellow speakers and hosts who include ABC News political commentator Cokie Roberts, KGO Newstalk AM 810 Rosie Allen and ABC7 News anchor Cheryl Jennings, will address the professional and personal issues that today's businesswomen face.
The PBWC conference, the largest annual gathering of businesswomen in northern California, is a day-long event that brings together businesswomen from a variety of industries and students to learn new skills, be inspired by female role models, and share ideas while networking. This year's program, "Across the Generations," will feature more than 100 exhibitors, informative seminars, and special interest tracks that offer expert advice on career advancement, financial empowerment, healthy living, work/life balance, and entrepreneurial strategies.
In addition to Albright and Roberts, keynote speakers will include Martha Beck, Ph.D., a life coach and monthly columnist for O: The Oprah Magazine and Meagan Johnson, a generational humorist who works to solve the multigenerational puzzle.
The day includes breakfast, lunch, morning and afternoon educational sessions, closing reception and an exhibition.
$225.
